Fabrication of MoSe2/AgNWs/PET electrode for flexible electrochromic smart window applications

摘要
The emergence of flexible and stretchable optoelectronic devices has led to the design and development of flexible and transparent conductive electrodes (TCEs). Smart windows, comprised of electrochromic devices (ECDs) based on electrochromic (EC) materials, have drawn enormous attention owing to their potential in blocking heat generated by the sunlight. Consequently, the design and fabrication of flexible ECDs is of great significance. In this study, the hydrothermal method was used to prepare two-dimensional molybdenum diselenide (MoSe2), which was employed as a passivation layer to protect silver nanowires (AgNWs). A flexible TCE (MoSe2/AgNWs/PET) was designed to develop a flexible ECD, PET/AgNWs/MoSe2/WO3/EL-72/MoSe2/AgNWs/PET, which exhibited a good coloration efficiency of 37.47 cm(2)/C with an optical contrast of 42.14%.
