摘要
Cheilectomy is an effective treatment of mild to moderate hallux rigidus. Arthroscopic and fluoroscopy-assisted percutaneous techniques have been developed with the aim of improving patient satisfaction, recovery time, and cosmesis. Early results of these techniques are encouraging, although large, well-designed comparative trials to identify a benefit over open cheilectomy have not yet been conducted.
