摘要
Virtual prototyping (VP) provides an environment to simulate building constructions as in the real world. VP can improve communication between different involved parties. DASAULT SYSTEMS (DS) providing solutions for the VP application is at present widely used in manufacturing but seldom used in the construction industry, especially construction process simulation. The method of using DS to achieve construction VP is described in the paper. A case study and its advantages are presented to give a clear impression.
