The zeolite is disposed by the means of dynamic activation and with different activators. A new combined process of zeolite and Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) has been developed, which can remove deeply the organic pollutant in drinking water. Through the static and dynamic adsorption experiment of zeolite-activated carbon, the main factors of experiment are analyzed completely, the optimal proportion of removing the organic pollutant from drinking water is determined, the optimal height and optimal filtering velocity of dynamic adsorption are determined. The experimental results show that the removal ratios of turbidity and COD(Mn) by this process can exceed 85% and 24.61% respectively when the optimal backfill height is 450mm and the optimal filtering velocity is 6m/h.
