摘要
This research aims at determining whether the job satisfaction and life satisfaction levels of accounting employees differ according to some variables and determining the relationship between job satisfaction and life satisfaction. The Job Satisfaction Scale developed by Hackman and Oldham [1] and the Life Satisfaction Scale developed by Diener, Emmons, Larsen and Griffin [2] were the data collection tools used in this research. The universe of the research is made up of accounting employees in Turkey. The work group consists of 1494 participants randomly selected from this universe. The research found that both the job satisfaction and the life satisfaction of the accounting employees differ according to age, working-region and income-level variables. It was also found that job satisfaction differs according to working style and life satisfaction differs according to position. Finally, it was determined that there is a positive significant and powerful relationship between job satisfaction and life satisfaction.
