摘要
Kinetic characteristics of catalytic reactions in open gradientless systems are studied based on full and reduced systems of ordinary differential equations under steady-state conditions for some of the reactants. By the example of two-step reactions constituting the basis of most of the multistep catalytic processes equilibrium and nonequilibrium properties are compared and the error of application of the steady-state approximation to describing the kinetics of these reactions within the framework of various reduced models is examined.
