Influence of pulp density and cell size in minerals flotation.

摘要
A study has been carried out about the effect of the variation of pulp density and flotation cell size with mineral species, pure and separate celestite and calcite, using two collector agents, Aeropromoter-805 and Aeropromoter-801 R. A DENVER D-12 flotation machine with four different cell sizes 1,25,2,5,5 and 10 L has been used to study the influence of cell size, and that will let us work with mineral masses between tens of grams and several kilograms, depending on previously adopted pulp density. The results found show that either pulp density or cell size do significantly influence on the recuperation percentage of both minerals.
