摘要
The paper describes the research process carried out at the Herman Villa Baena Educational Institution (I.E.H.V.B.) in the municipality of Bello-Antioquia, with the aim of analyzing the literacy levels of children in the third grade of this institution. This is a mixed investigation, due to the fact of corpus descriptive treatment (qualitative) and statistics analysis that supported it (quantitative). In order to fulfill the objective proposed to the students, three tests (diagnosis, educational proposal called Con las TIC leo y comprendo and the test of exit) were applied, as well as the participation of mothers and teachers. I did an interview. The results show that the literacy levels of the students improved as of the implementation of the pedagogical proposal, as well as differences between the teachers 'and mothers' perceptions regarding the learning process of reading and writing of the children.
