Extracting Surface Impedance Method for an Anisotropic Polygon Unit Cell

摘要
One patterning technique, the point shifting method, has enabled generating smoothly varying, and highly anisotropic impedance surfaces with a wide range of patch sizes and shapes. Previously the surface impedances of each different shape of unit cell were assumed by the impedance of similar size rectangular cells. In this work, we studied an approach to calculate more accurate surface impedances for anisotropic polygon unit cells, based on the moment of inertia equations. The method is verified by simulations.
