International Journal of Production Research over the past 25 years: A Retrospective Bibliometric Analysis

The IJPR is a leading journal publishing high-quality, original research in the areas covering manufacturing, industrial engineering, operations research and management science. In recent years, authors used bibliometric analysis of journals' scientific production over multiple years to explore the journal's bibliometric characteristics, objective performance, and citation trends. In this study, we used the retrospective bibliometric analysis to get an overview of the IJPR scientific production, emerging trends and its evolution over the past 25 years. Within the descriptive bibliometric analysis, we were interested to find out the dynamics and trends of research literature production. This research is targeted to a broad and diverse audience from various research fields like industrial engineering, manufacturing, operations research, management science, etc. Copyright (C) 2022 The Authors.
