摘要：

A novel three-dimensional stereographic imaging system is described. It provides a vivid visual experience and provides an effective means of analyzing both data and simulation images in a multi-user collaborative environment. The facility is briefly described, and a number of applications that have utilized the facility are outlined. Among them are images pertaining to the geology of oil exploration, medical imaging, CADCAM, nuclear physics and distance education.
