摘要：
This paper presents a compact microstrip-fed slot antenna with flower-shaped stub for ultra-wideband (UWB) applications. The proposed antenna composes of inverted T-shaped slot and inverted U-shaped slot which are etched on the ground plane. Additionally, by using the flower-shaped stub, fractional bandwidth is achieved more than 120%. The flower-shaped stub is crucial role in improving impedance matching especially the lower frequency range of UWB spectrum. The proposed antenna not only can perform the frequency band from 3 to 12.5 GHz but also execute a compact size with the dimensions of 16 x 24 x 0.8 mm(3).
