Effect of silver content on the phase transition and electrical properties of 0.95 [(K0.5Na0.5)NbO3]-0.05LiSbO3 ceramics

摘要
Lead free 0.95[(K0.5Na0.5)(1-x)AgxNbO3]-0.05LiSbO(3) (KNAN-LS) ceramics with x = 0, 0.02, 0.04, 0.06 and 0.08 have been synthesized by conventional solid state reaction route (CSSR). X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed the transformation of mixed structure to pure tetragonal structure with the increase in Ag content in KNN-LS ceramics. The Curie temperature (T-c) of the ceramics decreased from 385.5 degrees C to 331 degrees C with the increase in silver (Ag) content. The poling temperature was optimized for better piezoelectric properties. The KNAN-LS ceramics with x = 0.06 showed better piezoelectric and ferroelectric properties (d(33) = 227 pC/N, k(p) = 42.5%, T-c = 368 degrees C and P-r = 21.9 mu C/cm(2)).
