摘要
Dynamic analysis of nonlinear elastically supported plates subjected to subsonic flow and external excitation has been discussed in this paper. The plate has been assumed as von-Karman plate. Kelvin's structural damping model has been used to derive the governing equation of motion. The elastic support has also been considered as combination of nonlinear springs and linear dampers. The governing equation of motion has been derived in the non-dimensional forms. Transferring the partial differential equation of motion into an ordinary one has been conducted using Galerkin's approach. The pressure distribution acting on the surface of the plate has been obtained in order to model the flow passing through the plate. Perturbation technique has also been employed to solve the nonlinear equation of motion in the non-resonance condition. The pressure distribution contours, pressure time evolution and the responses of the plate have been demonstrated. Finally, a parametric study on the dynamical behavior of the plate has been carried out. (c) 2017 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
