摘要:
The buckling characteristics of thin steel cylindrical shell panels are investigated. A solution based on the Flugge shell theory is developed using the Differential Quadrature Method. Two versions of this promising new method are considered. Numerical results axe computed and are compared with existing results. The paper ends with the presentation of new results and a discussion of computational characteristics of the new method.
