摘要
Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs) and Cobalt Ferrite (CFO) magnetic nanoparticles (Npts) nanocomposite was synthesized in a one-step process by mixing and sonicating samples in presence of a surfactant. Structure and morphology of the composite was verified using X-ray diffraction (XRD), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Magnetic properties were verified performing magnetic force microscopy (MFM) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The saturation magnetization (M-s) for CNTs showed a significant improvement, 207.7 emu g(-1) as compared to pristine cobalt ferrite's (CFO's) M-s value of 63 emu g(-1).
