摘要
The objective of this study was to analyze the possibility to cultivate the red raspberry cultivar 'Heritage' with organic farming methods in the greenhouse. This experiment has been conducted in a greenhouse in Adana from 2006 to 2007. Plants of 'Heritage' have been planted into containers with a specific substrate mixture composed of bukasi (straw mixed with effective microorganisms), organic turf, and volcanic rock. Two topics were analyzed. In the first experiment, the objective was to evaluate the effect of pruning canes at ground level after the first yield in 2006, on the autumn yield in 2007. In the second experiment, the objective was to compare the effect of liquid and solid farm manure, and microorganisms fertilizer, which have organic farming certificate, on phonological development, yield, and quality of the fruits harvested in spring and autumn. In comparison between 2006 and 2007, the pruning trial resulted in 1816.40 g/m(2) yield per plot in 2006 and 813.87 g/m(2) yield per plot in 2007. Pruning has not been applied in autumn of 2007. First harvest has been done in June but in both applications, the last harvest has been done in November. The fertilizer trial showed that the best results have been achieved with liquid farm manure. In the conditions of Adana, the cultivar 'Heritage' can be cultivated for "out of season production" with organic farming methods in greenhouse without heating and additional light.
