Stability of magnetohydrodynamic flow around a circular cylinder

We consider the stability problem of the two-dimensional flow of an incompressibl electroconducting viscous liquid near a circular cylinder in the presence of magnetic field. A Rvachev function method with the Chebyshev collocation is used for the stability analysis. W-c construct an approximate solution that satisfies all boundary conditions exactly. The results coincide well with the reference data without the magnetic field. The method is simpler tha e the widely used spectral/hp element method, in particular, because it does not require mesh generation, and the collocation algorithm does not handle the boundary conditions or an n geometric information.
