Structures and magnetic properties of sintered Nd-Fe-B magnets produced by strip casting technique

摘要
Sintered Nd-Fe-B magnets were produced by strip casting and conventional casting techniques. Compared to the magnet made from cast ingots, the magnet made from cast strips has higher B-r, H-i(c) and (BH)(max). The reasons for the improved performance were discussed based on microstructure analyses of the as-cast alloys and the as-sintered magnets by using optical microscopy and SEM.
