摘要
The method of calculating a compensating device for a dual-frequency power supply of a crucible furnace equipped with a dual-section inductor with counter winding is given in the article. A special frequency converter provides power to sections from two current sources of different frequency and equal amplitude. Electromagnetic, hydrodynamic and thermal processes in an induction crucible furnace with a dual-frequency power supply have been studied.
