摘要
This study was carried out in the Plant Virology Laboratory of Plant Protection Department at College of Agriculture, Kerbala University, Iraq. The study aimed to estimate the genetic diversity and defining identity a four rice genotypes (Oryza sativa L.), according to the sequences of RM171-amplified PCR products, which were linked to Rf(4 )for fertility restoration. Results obtained from the PCR amplification and analysis of nucleotide sequences of RM171 amplified products using BLAST (Basic Local Alignment Search Tool), showed that the four rice genotypes are belonged to the Oryza sativa indica group. From the comparison of the nucleotide sequences obtained from the identified rice genotypes with the nucleotide sequences deposited at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), it was revealed that the only identified one rice genotypes of Furat-1 was not previously recorded at NCBI. While that three rice genotypes identified sequences with that at NCBI present, when alignment Furat-1 and Mashkhab-1 genotypes showed the highest similarity with 99% identity. While the difference (1%) consists of one gaps and one transversion (C/A) and one transition was previously unregistered at NCBI. Therefore, the one identified sequences have been deposited and recorded in GenBank database (NCBI) under the accession numbers: MK396100. The data acquired can be applied for the protection of plant genetic resources and is useful in the relish for rice breeding programs.
