摘要
Although good assessment and feedback practices are widely recognised as crucial to learning, historical UK NSS results illustrate that current practices leave students dissatisfied the most in terms of their overall learning experience. This paper outlines some of the issues causing this dissatisfaction and uses historical data from a UK undergraduate CS course at our institution to test if student perceptions are valid. The results show that issues identified by students such as feedback being too negative or lacking in clarity did hold true for the data available and we outline ways in which these problems could be addressed and could be of value to the wider HE CS community
