摘要
In this paper, a rectangular loop-shape microstrip transmission line Radio Frequency (RF) coil is presented for 7-Tesla Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). The designed loop-shape coil consists of four microstrip lines connected in a rectangular shape through lumped capacitors in serial on the top layer of a grounded dielectric substrate. Integrated with the L-shaped tunable matching network, the RF coil can be tuned easily to operate at the working frequency of the 7-Tesla MRI system. Numerical modeling is carried out using CST to design, characterize and verify the performance of the proposed RF coil for MRI system.
