摘要
We present a compact printed ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna with a band-notched characteristic. A modified ground plane is introduced to achieve a wide impedance bandwidth from 3 to 13.4 GHz with S-11<- 10dB. By inserting an arc-shaped slot in the radiating patch, the notch frequency band at 3.4-3.7 GHz is obtained. An equivalent circuit model and parametric studies are given to explain the principle of the proposed UWB antenna. The relationship between the current distributions and radiation patterns is discussed. Simulated and measured results show that the proposed antenna has good impedance matching, stable radiation patterns and constant gain. (c) 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
