摘要
Two different vibration transmissions from traffic are discussed with respect to the on-ground flat track and elevated viaduct track. The former vibration is generated by the forced motion by given surface displacement of the pavement. Consequently, the motion depends on vehicle types, cargo, running speed and the roughness. The latter vibration, besides the roughness of the road surface, the vertical girder motions of viaduct becomes important. The level differences at joints are also cause of vehicle vibrations. The viaduct vibrations emit waves from the fixed positioned foundations that propagate in ground. This paper interprets the vehicle load characteristics and vibrations generation mechanism, and then measures against such traffic induced vibrations.
