摘要
Renewable Energy (RE) is an alternative option for electricity generation as it is sustainable and non-polluting energy. At present, the whole world is facing the climate change and the ever-increasing of petroleum production which is the opportunities for RE resources to increasingly address electricity demand. However, RE resources can cause voltage fluctuation, due to its uncertainty in power output, and then the voltage profile may exceed the voltage limit. In this paper, a solution method using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) has been proposed to minimize the voltage fluctuation and maintain voltage profile within the voltage limit. The proposed method is simulated in IEEE 34-bus distribution test system, and the satisfactory results are obtained.
