INFLUENCE OF THE CROP SYSTEM ON SOIL EROSION AND ON THE SOIL PHYSICAL PROPERTIES UNDER THE ROMANIAN NORTH-WESTERN AREA CONDITIONS

摘要
The researches regarding the soil losses linked to the agricultural system were carried out in Oradea during 2001-2008 in specific plots with a slope of 8% and having the following variants: clean fallow, maize cropped on the level curves direction, maize cropped from the top down to the valley direction, wheat, pasture. The biggest soil losses were determined in the variant with clean fallow. This variant is followed by the variants with maize cropped from top to valley, maize cropped on the level curves direction, wheat and pasture. In the variant with clean fallow, the biggest difference between the soil structure degree, bulk density, total porosity, penetration resistance, hydraulic conductivity was registered at the top of the hill compared to the values registered at its base. In the variant with maize cropped on the level curve direction, more favourable values were registered compared to the values determined in the variant with maize cropped from the top down to the valley.
