摘要
The article presents a manufacturing process and their I-V curves measurements of the dye-sensitized nano solar cells (DSSCs). The constituents of the produced DSSCs are the photoelectrode, the dyes, the electrolyte, and the counter electrode. In process the constituents are prepared for assembling individually. Four pieces of slight glass spacers around the cell edges are sandwiched between the photoelectrode and the counter electrode to build a gap. The gap is then filled in the liquid electrolyte, which is finished by mixing 0.5M KI and 0.05M I2 in solvent with ethylenecarbonate and propylenecarbonate in a 1 : 9 volume ratio. An instrument for measurements of photoelectric conversion efficiency and a scanning absorption spectrum analyzer, which used a metal halide lamp as the light source due to its better fitted spectrum with the solar spectrum on purple and blue fields, are built in this work.
