摘要
Using cetyltfimethyl ammonium bromide as a low cost template, mesoporous TiO2 was prepared by hydrolyzing Ti(Obu)(4). The as-prepared mesoporous TiO2 was characterized by XRD, FT-IR, TEM, etc. The experimental results show that synthesized mesoporous TiO2 has large BET surface area and high thermal and hydrothermal stabilities. The photocatalytic activity of the synthesized mesoporous TiO2 in decomposition of methyl orange is comparable to commercially available nanosized TiO2 (P25). (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V.
