摘要
In attempting to increase performance in public sector management by positively affecting the economies of African countries in general and citizens in particular, various strategies of management are deployed to accomplish excellence in governance. E-governance has become the twenty-first century tool adopted by governments all over the world to bridge the gap between governments on one hand and citizens and businesses on the other hand. The study establishes a relationship between E-governance and GDP, and concludes that if E-government is made a priority in the mechanism of governance in Africa; it may lead to increase in GDP. Thus E-governance has the capacity to invariably promote better governmental administration, and a better governmental administration leads to increase productivity.
