摘要
This paper evaluates the performance of a hybrid PV/wind turbine/battery/diesel system by considering economic and reliability indices. For this purpose, the prices to supply the load demand by the network and the hybrid system in off-grid mode have been compared. The optimum sizes of hybrid power system components are calculated by using the Moth Flame Optimization algorithm (MFO). The problem is solved to continuously supply the load demand with optimization the total costs of investment, maintenance and operation, and fuel of the system. To have a reliable system, loss of power supply probability (LPSP) as a goal is applied to the objective function. In addition, loss of load expected (LOLE) and loss of energy expectation (LOEE) as other reliability indices are considered. This study is applied to the technical and engineering faculty of University of Mohaghegh Ardabili (TEF-UMA) in northwest of Iran. Simulation results confirm that the supply of the load demand does not have economic justification.
