摘要：

Development efforts, which seek to address social needs while taking care to minimize potential negative environmental impacts, have been called sustainable or green development. The concepts of sustainable development need to be introduced in highway construction management as the infrastructure construction sector has been considered as a big emission emitter. The purpose of this paper, then, is to outline the evolution of the concept of green construction management; advance understanding of the concept of green construction; enunciate principles to be upheld in order to attain green construction; and to propose a practical framework for the attainment of green construction.
