摘要
Synthesis of hydronium jarosite rods had been carried out using the method of microwave-assisted hydrothermal syntheses under controlled values of solution acidity. The prepared materials were characterized by means of xray diffraction analysis, transmission electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared and Raman spectroscopies. The structure and physical stability of the produced hydronium jarosite was verified based on the x-ray diffraction and associated strain analysis. Morphology and texture were found highly dependent on the route pH value Due to the pH-controlled reaction rate and large temperature gradient induced by microwave radiation both were found to have a major effect on the texture of the prepared material. The results showed that the high reaction rate at high pH caused the formation of highly dispersed hydronium jarosite rods contrary to the slow reaction rate at low pH which allowed the rods to form in stacked bundles. Infrared and Raman showed persisting signatures of the Fe-O and (SO4) vibrations and dependence of the (H3O)(+) H-O vibration intensity on the route pH.
