摘要
The LHCb RICH Detector Control System (DCS) ensures the efficient and safe operation of the two RICH detectors. Essential for RICH operation are the control and monitoring of low voltage and high voltage systems, the monitoring of gas quality, mirror alignment and environmental parameters, and finally detector safety. The RICH DCS is integrated into the overall LHCb Experiment Control System (ECS), which supervises the configuration, control and monitoring of all the components of the LHCb online system. In this framework a dedicated high voltage control system, fully compliant with both hardware and software ECS prescriptions, has been implemented in order to operate and monitor the RICH Hybrid Photon Detectors. In this paper a description of RICH DCS is given, including the alignment, gas and high voltage systems. (C) 2008 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
