Liquid-liquid equilibria containing fluorous solvents as environmentally benign solvent

The object of this study is to measure the liquid-liquid equilibrium (LLE) data in fluorous solvent (perfluorohexane and Galden (R) HT-135) mixtures, which are used as environmentally benign reaction solvents. The LLE data of perfluorohexane + n-alkane (C-7, C-9, and C-10) mixtures were measured to determine the phase behavior of perfluorohexane+ n-alkane (C-6-C-10) mixtures. The LLE for Galden HT-135 (R) + dibutyl ether/butyl acetate mixtures were measured up to the upper critical solution temperature (UCST).
