摘要
Suspension systems have been the focus for improving passenger comfort in high speed trains. To analyze the effect of vibration on vehicle ride quality, a six DOF passenger railway vehicle with front and rear suspension is built. The random rail excitation in form of white noise is fed into a second order linear shaping filter. The front wheel and the rear wheels have been correlated by a second order Pade approximation. An active secondary system is designed using a Linear Quadratic Gaussian(LQG) optimal control system. The robustness of the control system is analyzed by including parametric fluctuations and structured uncertainties.<bold> </bold>
