The suspended material as an index of productivity in the western part of the Black Sea

摘要：
The distribution of suspended material (SM) and variation of its composition was investigated in the western. part of the Black Sea in relation to the river flow and eutrophication influence. It was demonstrated that changes of SM concentrations and its composition in the area were closely connected with the spatial variability of biological productivity resulted from different eutrofication level of the coastal waters. The application of SM investigations results, obtained in this region for the determination of eutrophication scales and remote controle of production processes development in the sea were discussed.
