This article reviews the common Infectious causes of diarrhea M cars and discusses selected diseases in greater depth. A systematic approach to a cat with possible infectious diarrhea Is presented, along with a detailed description of the best way to perform an in-house fecal examination. The goal here is to provide the reader with a logical list of differentials and the information necessary to pursue a diagnosis in an efficient manner. (C) 2008 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
