摘要
Purpose of our investigations is to define telesurgical procedure in Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery or any other endoscopic surgery. Goal is how to realize safer surgical procedure using new computer and medical technologies in telesurgical consultation. Our telesurgery procedure transfer computer data (images, 3D-models) and movements of surgical instruments connected to the 3D digitizer in real time during surgery and in parallel to the encoded live video signals. We use JPEG and MPEG2 encoders and decoders, ATM communication equipment, graphic workstations, 3D digitizers and standard endoscopic surgical instruments.
