摘要
Different from land power system, marine high power rectifier power transformation device usually use thyristor as power devices. Thyristor open-circuit or short-circuit fault may occur if don't handle in time, the power side and load side will have serious consequences. Studying fast detection device of the thyristor fault has an important significance for rapidly inhibiting the spread of fault effects, reducing the maintenance and repair difficulty, improving reliability and maintainability of power transformation device. In this paper, two kinds of methods have been studied and designed for online real-time detection in controlled rectifier power supply thyristor short-circuit or open-circuit fault diagnosis. Structure of two kinds of devices, diagnostic procedures and introduction of key technologies were given, and submitted the test results. Test results show that two kinds of methods can quickly and easily complete controlled rectifier thyristor fault diagnosis and fault location, it is practical and applicable in real world application.
