摘要
Choosing a suitable post material is a very important factor to obtain a satisfactory degree in the treatment process of the patient's tooth. The present study aims to analyze the stress distribution on the Endodontic Prefabricated Post (EPP), gutta-percha, and dentin with different post materials. Six EPP materials were considered in the present investigation in order to analyze the effect of the post material on the stress distribution through the Finite Element Analysis (FEA). The results obtained from the present analysis found that when comparing the maximum von Mises stress occurring on the dentin structure with six different post materials, the variation between the least and highest values was about 14%.
