摘要
The paper is an attempt to establish the necessity of considering cavitations erosion like a distinct process of corrosion. It is analyzed cavitation erosion from mechanic point of view, considering results of cavitation erosion upon different materials in distillated water and in other liquids, chemical aggressively. Numerical results of the paper are obtained both in Hydraulic Laboratory of "Politehnica" University of Timisoara and other world wide authorized laboratories. Eroded mass during a cavitation process is considered reference parameter.
