The Land Use Change and its Trend in Beibu Gulf Economic Zone Based on RS and GIS

摘要
Based on land use remote sensing data of Beibu Gulf Economic Zone in 1986, 1995, 2000 and 2007, using RS and GIS methods, the land use dynamic changes from 1986 to 2007 such as change range and rate have been investigated in this paper. The changing trends of land use patterns in 2015 and 2020 were analyzed by Markov model. The results show that the town and resident land increased greatly while the crop land decreased continuously in the past 21 years. Meanwhile the change rate of town and resident land revealed obvious differences of time and spatial distribution. The town and resident land increasing rate from 2000 to 2007 in both Guangdong area and Guangxi area was obviously more than that in the same areas from 1986 to 2000. By 2020, the town and resident land in all the areas will increase and the changing trends of other land use types are different.
