摘要
We model the propagation of galactic cosmic-ray nuclei with energy above 1 GeV using DRAGON, a new numerical code. We test our code by considering the case of a uniform diffusion coefficient D along the Galactic Plane. Then, for the first time, we also study the case in which D traces the radial distribution of Galactic Supernova Remnants. In both cases we consistently match the observed B/C, as well as other primary/primary nuclide ratios, and the antiproton/proton spectrum. Moreover, we compute the hadronic contribution to the diffuse gamma-ray emission of the Galaxy along the galactic plane, and we point out that the radial dependence of the diffusion coefficient may offer an alternative solution to the well-known gradient problem.
