Specific antibody responses to an HIV-1 vaccine

摘要：
The specific humoral response to an anti-HIV-1 vaccine was characterised in five macaque monkeys. Antibody production corresponded to vaccine-encoded antigens. Antibody titre increased moderately but transiently in response to vaccination in three macaques. Antibody avidity was unaltered in all but one macaque in response to vaccination. Whilst this vaccine is aimed at inducing a T cell immune response, it is clear that a degree of vaccine-specific antibody production also occurs.
