Synthesis and X-ray crystal structure of nBu2SnCl2.(C6H5N=CHC5H4N-2)

摘要
Diorganotin (IV) dichloride complex of the composition " Bu2SnCl2. (C6H5N=CHC5H4N-2) has been isolated from the reaction of " Bu2SnCl2 and the Iigand C6H5N=CHC5H4N-2 in CH2Cl2. The crystal structure of the title compound has been determined. The crystal belongs to the orthorhombic space group P2(1)2(1)2(1) with the following unit cell dimensions for C20H28Cl2N2Sn (M = 486.1): a = 12.098(2) Angstrom, b = 18.830(2) Angstrom, c = 9.731(2) Angstrom, alpha = beta = gamma = 90 degrees, v =2216.7(5)Angstrom(3), Z = 4, D-c = 1.456 g cm(-1), mu = 13.98 cm(-1), R = 0.036, R-w = 0.033 for 1857 reflections with 1 greater than or equal to 3.0 sigma (1). The structure of the organotin compound is molecular and features an octahedral tin atom which is coordinated by two butyl groups, two chloride atoms and two chemically non-equivalent nitrogen donor atoms in the ligand.
