We study the boundedness character of solutions of some third order rational difference equations and we confirm some of the conjectures posed in Camouzis et al. ["Progress report on the boundedness character of third-order rational equations, Journal of Difference Equations and Applications 11 (2005), 1029-1035] and ["On third order rational difference equations, part 6, Journal of Difference Equations and Applications 11 (2005), 759-777].
