摘要
Power stations of transmission system in the Czech Republic are currently undergoing a major modernization. Part of this process includes the changing of lighting systems and their controlling. These steps should lead not only to reducing energy consumption of the lighting systems, but also to increasing safety in terms of security and employees working inside outdoor power stations. An indispensable part of the modernization of the lighting systems in the power stations is also reducing the maintenance demand, due to the increasing cost of labor and unmanned operation of the power stations. The reconstruction of the power stations of Czech transmission system and the construction of new power stations involves installing new outdoor lighting systems, which must apply to current norms and standards, particularly CSN EN 12464-2 and CEPS (Czech Transmission System Company) standards, which are based on European ones. An operation of the lighting systems in the power stations is going to be monitored by control system PAC (Programmable Automation Controller), which allows, among other things, to diagnose various types of luminaires and lighting systems. The aim of the usage of the PAC control system is both reliable operation control of outdoor lighting systems and monitoring and diagnosing of them by remote monitoring from a central control room.
