摘要
The intertidal sesarmid crab Sesarma sigillata Tweedie, 1950, described from Cocos-Keeling Islands in the Indian Ocean has long been in the synonymy of Sesarma (Parasesarma) carolinensis Rathbun, 1907, from the Caroline Islands in the western Pacific. Examination of the types of the taxa, as well as a good series of specimens from Cocos-Keeling Islands shows that both are distinct species of Parasesarma De Man, 1895. In addition, a new species, P. corallicum, which is allied to P. carolinense and P. sigillatum is described from Taiwan.
