摘要
Pipeline is one of the safest and most effective ways to transport oil and natural gas, whose quality is correlative with the safety of oil or gas transportation. Therefore, effective extractive detection of pipeline faults is essential. In the work of extracting pipeline faults, selecting the appropriate thresholds is a very important step. Based on some traditional image processing algorithms, a processing algorithm for parallel detection with the method of adaptive threshold is proposed briefly here, and the corresponding examples and processing effects are also given. The experimental results show that the method can accurately select the optimal threshold for pipeline inspection under certain illumination intensity, which provides great convenience for the subsequent processing in the field of pipeline detection.
